By John Gil

From the runways at Fashion Week to celebrities like Beyonce a popular new trend in fashion is wearing temporary tattoos on your
forearm, wrist, leg and ankle.

From the runways at Fashion Week to celebrities like Beyonce these temporary tattoos are now very popular.

Traditionally temporary armband tattoos are applied to the upper arm. But because of the temporary armband tattoos width
and length they work great for these alternate applications.

Temporary armband tattoos are usually applied to the upper arm. But because of the temporary armband tattoos dimensions they work great
in other applications. Armband tattoos usually measure about 9 to 12 inches long by one half to three quarter inch wide. They can be cut down to fit
other parts of the body. With all the various designs available in armband tattoos they offer a great selection.

Some armband tattoo designs that can be altered to be ankle, arm and leg tattoos are:

Tribal armbands:
Tribal armband designs usually consist of black ink with sharp edged swirls or red and black interlaced designs.

Celtic or Irish:
Celtic bands incorporate many of the contemporary Irish/Celtic designs including shamrocks, Celtic crosses, Irish lace work
and Christian symbols.
The patterns in these bands are typically interwoven and often feature something known as knotting.

Barbed wire:
Bands that look like standard barbed wire, razor wire or concertina wire.

Abstract:
These tattoos incorporate the styles from Celtic, tribal and barbed wire tattoos.
Because abstract tattoos include the styles of tribal, abstract and Celtic designs they are the most popular of armand designs.
An example of an abstract armband tattoo is razor wire with Celtic crosses intertwined. Also shamrocks with barbed wire laced through them.

You can find a large selection of temporary tattoo armbands at online temporary tattoo stores.
Pick a design that you like and modify the tattoo to suit your needs.
