To give you an idea where to start, here are just some easy and fun things to wear on Halloween.

A Savvy GhostUsing the same old white sheet with slits for eyes as your Casper like costume, why not make your ghost extra cute by dressing it up a little. For the girls, put a little lipstick by the mouth area. Put on fake lashes. For an extra stylistic touch to your costume accessories! Stick on some fun fake earrings or a toy necklace. The boys may add character to their ghost costume by putting on a bandanna around the head, or any hats. How about that for an exciting ghost!

Tanned TouristsTo make your ordinary tourist look more authentic, paint your face and arms with just a small amount of temporary, light brown color body paint. This will look good with your tourist get up of Hawaiian shirt and shorts, with camera sling around the neck. Girls can either wear a wrap-around dress or just shirts and shorts. She can bring along a big tote, transparent bag complete with all the tourist essentials like maps, books, sun block lotion and a bikini. Do not forget straw hats and carry along luggage.

Oldies and goodiesRaid your grandma and grandpas attic for those oldies clothes you like. Old suits and pants with an old vintage hat for the boys. Girls, on the other hand, can don grandmas pretty laces or ruffled style dress and old stockings. She can put on oxford shoes or old platform shoes, and to complete her outfit a large old purse. Both girls and boys can style their hair using white temporary hair color. If you do not have one, dust off with a baby powder or flour. The trick in looking old is to apply egg whites on your face it tightens up the face and make it appears to have wrinkles.

Be a cereal for the dayOld boxes are also put to good use for Halloween. Find a box in your garage that is the right size for your body type. On its sides, cut holes to put through your arms. On the bottom, cut holes for your legs. Leave the top open for your head and upper body. Paint the box of any of your favorite cereal box cover. Put on some old tights, gloves and a funky wig then you are all set to have fun with your costume!
